Copy status — approved, with tracked follow-ups

Pray’s public copy (Privacy Policy, Terms, Community Guidelines, and AI Disclosure) was reviewed and approved by the operator on July 11, 2026, resolving the final public-copy sign-off. A few clearly-marked items remain pending their own decision or check — the children’s/age posture ([FOUNDER/LEGAL GATE]), the salvation-permanence sign-off ([FOUNDER/LEGAL SIGN-OFF]), and runtime verifications ([OPERATOR-VERIFY]) — and should not be relied on until the noted gate closes.

Our Privacy Approach

Pray is built to be private by default, not a social network. Your personal prayers, private notes, and journal entries are yours: they stay on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

We do not show ads. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and we do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking.

Community Prayer is the one shared space, and only with what you choose to post there. When you share, your first name and state/region appear with your prayer so members can pray with you; your email is never shown.

We use AI only to help word guided prayers, and only through our own server. We do not send your personal prayers or journal to AI, and we never use your content to train AI models.

The sections below explain each of these in more detail.

Who We Are

Pray is operated by Lets All Pray LLC. This policy explains what information the app handles, what stays on your device, and what is shared when you use community features.

For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].

What We Collect

Account information: your email address, first name, state/region, and country. This is stored on our servers and used to run your account and to show your first name and region on community prayers you share.

Community prayer content you choose to share: your community prayer requests, prayers, and related activity.

Optional beta feedback: if you send feedback, you may include your name and account, or submit it anonymously.

Your personal prayers, private notes, journal entries, settings, and custom sessions are NOT collected by our servers — they stay on your device (see below).

Personal Prayer & Journal Stay on Your Device

Your personal prayer requests, private notes, journal entries, preferences, statistics, and custom sessions are stored only on your device and are not stored on our servers. If you use AI to generate a custom session, the session name and description you write are sent through our server to the AI provider as described in "AI Features."

Because this data is on your device only, it is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Deleting your account does not affect it, and we cannot access or recover it for you.

You can export or import this on-device data to move it between your own devices. A standard export creates a readable file; a secure export encrypts the same data with a password you choose. If you forget that password, the file cannot be recovered.

Community Prayer Is Shared by Design

Community Prayer is a shared space. When you post a community prayer request, pray for others, or take part in community activity, that content is visible to other Community Prayer members by design.

Your first name and state/region are shown alongside the community content you share. Your email address is never displayed to other members.

Community activity is recorded in an append-only history used for community integrity and safety. See "Deleting Your Account" for how this history is handled when you leave.

AI Features

Pray can use AI to help generate and vary prayer wording for guided sessions. AI requests go only through our server; the app never contacts an AI provider directly.

On current features we send only session configuration (such as the type of prayer, style, length, and phase) to our AI provider. We do NOT send your personal prayer requests, private notes, journal entries, profile details, location, or email.

One exception you should know about: if you create a custom session, the name and description you write for that session are sent to the AI provider — cleaned up and length-limited — so it can generate that session’s prayer content.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. See our AI Disclosure for details.

[OPERATOR-VERIFY] Runtime capture of a live AI request to reconfirm exactly which fields egress is an operator step pending before this statement is relied on at runtime, publicly, or in the app store, and before publishing or submission.

Salvation Announcements

If you choose to share a salvation announcement, your first name and country are published publicly and permanently in the community’s append-only history. This happens only when you explicitly confirm it.

Deleting your account does NOT remove a salvation announcement you have already published, unless a future removal process is added. Please only confirm a salvation announcement if you are comfortable with your first name and country remaining public.

[FOUNDER/LEGAL SIGN-OFF] The salvation permanence disclosure and its explicit-confirmation flow require Founder/legal sign-off before this copy is final.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time. This removes your profile and account data from our systems and unlinks your identity from your community activity.

Community activity is kept in an append-only history that cannot be rewritten. After deletion, the identifiers that tie that history to you are removed or hidden so it no longer identifies you — but the history entries themselves are not erased.

Salvation announcements are an exception, as described above.

Your on-device personal prayer and journal data is not affected by account deletion; it is removed only by uninstalling the app or clearing its data.

[OPERATOR-VERIFY] Account-deletion behavior — including removal of the underlying login and de-identification of retained community activity — is implemented and validated in the repository source. A synthetic deletion proof against the target runtime remains an operator step required before this behavior is relied on at runtime, publicly, or in the app store. This is not a claim that live or production deletion has been executed today.

No Ads & No Third-Party Tracking

Pray does not show ads and has no advertising relationships.

At launch, Pray does not use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics trackers.

Crash and error logs are kept minimal and do not include your prayer content.

[OPERATOR-VERIFY] The "no third-party tracking" statement must be confirmed against the production and native runtime (analytics remaining disabled) before it is relied on publicly.

Payments & Support

Pray may offer paid support or membership options. If you choose to support Pray, your payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We share only the information needed to process your payment and manage your membership or subscription, and we do not store your card details.

Payments do not change our approach: we still show no ads, do not sell your data, and do not use third-party tracking. If you delete your account, we unlink your personal data from support records but keep minimal financial and entitlement records for financial record-keeping; access can be recovered with the same verified payment identity.

Pray is currently in a limited-time Founders period. During this period, Pray may offer a Founders support model as its launch-era support option. This Founders-period offering is temporary and may change after the Founders period ends.

If specific Founders-period pricing, refund, or membership terms apply, they will be presented at the time of enrollment or support selection.

Microphone & Speech

If you use voice features, your microphone is used only for speech interaction during a session. Audio is processed for speech and is not stored by us as prayer content.

Children & Age

You can read our age requirements in the Terms of Service.

[FOUNDER/LEGAL GATE — Child-Use Posture] The age and children’s-use posture is under review and is not finalized. This copy will be updated once that decision is made.
